Sports Director
An exciting opportunity to combine your passion for sport, leadership and management, working with youth and our college community
We are seeking an energetic, passionate and vision-driven Sports Director to lead, support and elevate our sports and active recreation programme. Working collaboratively with our two Sports Coordinators, you will deliver a dynamic strategy focused on increasing student participation, performance, and overall enjoyment across the college.

Supported by both our school community and the wider region, approximately 60% of our students actively participate. With over 100 teams involved in college competitions, we also support many individual athletes competing at various levels. We pride ourselves on offering high-quality opportunities for all—whether students want to stay active, play socially with friends, or compete at the national level.
Building strong relationships within the college, with sports organisations and in the wider Kāpiti community and ensuring the effective administration and safe delivery of the programme are key parts of this role.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in sports leadership and management, strong administration skills and experience, exceptional people skills and the ability, confidence and enthusiasm to promote Paraparaumu College sports and active recreation.
